Kitzbühel on
Sunday 20 July will be the secpnd time that an Austrian venue has appeared in the illustrious triathlon world cup set. Top class participants will again be taking to the starting blocks at the Kitzbühel Schwarzsee Lake Triathlon. The year 2008 stands against the background of Beijing 2008 Olympic training. "The top athletes will take for the last times a refreshing training in an Alpine surrounding", maintains Race Director Manfred Bachmann. The road to Beijing therefore passes through Kitzbühel.
The
support programme takes place on Friday and Saturday. The contest begins in the afternoon with a
children's triathlon. All amateur triathletes are next up, with an Open Race on Saturday . The amateur athletes are given the one-off opportunity to race on the same routes (half distance) and under the same conditions as the world's elite.
This event forms part of the Tyrolean Triathlon Circuit!

- All participants receive a finisher medal
- For the first 3 places a cool prize will be awarded
Starter & finisher kits
- All kids that register by 12th of July at latest will receive a T-shirt after the race by handing back the chip
- In addition, there will be nice & cool things in your starter kit.
